Our yearly corporate donors help us all year long. Your DFV donations play a crucial role in supporting initiatives like the Downriver Foster Closet. DFV collaborates with local retail, area groups, and individuals to collect food and goods for veterans, including those associated with the Downriver United Methodist Church. We facilitate services for veterans suffering from PTSD, help provide job opportunities, and assist with securing health benefits through the Downriver VA Clinic. Additionally, DFV supports veterans in staying in their homes by offering repair services, home goods, or utility payments, as well as helping provide temporary shelter. In the spring, DFV plants community gardens and distributes vegetables to families all summer long. We also assist with burial services, connect resources to all veteran services, and provide gifts and treats during the holidays for veteran families in need, plus much more!
