DFV works with local retail, area groups and individuals to collect food and goods for Veterans, facilitates services for Veterans suffering with PTSD, helps provide job opportunities, assists with getting health benefits, supports staying in their homes by providing repair services, home goods or utility payments or helping provide temporary shelter. DFV plants community gardens in the spring and distributes vegetables to families all summer. DFV assists with burial services, connects resources to all veteran services, provides gifts and treats on holidays for veteran families in need, plus much more!
